How to Change Registered Name on windows XP?



Its a Step by Step process.
  1. First of all log in to administrator account.
  2. Press Windows button+R to open Run prompt.
  3. Write 'regedit' in the Run command prompt and press enter.
  4. A dialog box of registry edit will open on your screen.
  5. Now Click + sign next to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SOFTWARE>MICROSOFT>WINDOWS NT>CURRENTVERSION.
  6. Scroll to "Registered Owner" in the right pane window and open it by pressing enter.
  7. Type the name that you wish to enter and press OK.
  8. Finish
*Changing the Licensing Name is illegal in most cases.
*Don't mess with the registry unless you are really specific about the task you are performing.
