Windows 7 - Trick

I recently installed windows 7 'again'. But now, I am fed up with all those cracks and there is always a feeling that the crack must have some kind of virus.

While searching about them I found a new way to keep my Windows 7 genuine without any crack on My Digital Life Forum by mcclausky.

Side Effects:

1. You will have to rearm the method every month.
2. Your windows will always remain in 30 Day trial period.

Reminder:

• Make a reminder on Scheduled Tasks or Microsoft Outlook (calenders).

Method

Open Notepad as Administrator

Step 1 - Making Batch File

We will make a batch file & store it in C Drive.

• First of all open windows startmenu
• Write notepad in searchbar(this startmenu is available in 7)
• Now rightclick on Notepad (run as administrator)
• Now paste this script in Notepad

reg load HKLM\MY_SYSTEM "%~dp0Windows\System32\config\system"

reg delete HKLM\MY_SYSTEM\WPA /f

reg unload HKLM\MY_SYSTEM

• Save Notepad file as "delwpa.bat" (without quotations) in C:\ (drive) or where the windows is installed. 
• Remember it should only be stored in C:\ (root folder)

Step 2 - Restarting PC

We now need to execute this file we made & saved in windows. To do that we will go to CMD by restarting windows.

• Press F8 on startup - to enter windows starting menu
• Choose Repair option
• Now choose CMD (command Prompt)
• Here it may show that windows is installed in D: , don't worry.
• After entering CMD you will see something like X:\windows

Type:
cd\  

It will bring you to X:\
Now type: 
D: 

It will bring you to D drive.
Now check Directories. By typing:
dir 

If you find "delwpa.bat" in the directories then go to step 3. 
Or
Type 
C: 

Now again Type:
dir

Step 3: - Executing delwpa.bat

• After you found "delwpa.bat" in directories.
• Type:
• delwpa.bat 
• To execute the file.

It will show confirmation that, the file was successful or something....

Command Prompt as Administrator

Step 4 - Start PC

The computer will start & windows will say that "This product is not genuine" - ignore it.
Now Run Command Prompt (CMD) as Administrator - Same method of notepad, applies here.
And Execute the following code by typing it in CMD.

Type it in command Prompt and press enter.
After few seconds some prompts will appear. Click OK on them.

Final step - Again Restart

• Now after you have restarted your PC.
• Again Run Command Prompt as Administrator.

Now type

slmgr /dlv

• And Press enter.

After few seconds a prompt window will appear with lot of data.In the end of the window will be written.

Time Remaining: 30days
Remaining windows rearm count: 4

Tips for Re-arming:

When you want to rearm the following method again.

Typing code in Command prompt

Just type:

slmgr /rearm

Note:

1. You can only rearm this method for 4 times.
2. After that you will need to again do this whole process (It hardly take 5 min).
3. Or you can keep the file "delwpa.bat" in your Root directory - that is C:
4. And just repeat Step 2 to step 5.
